Pantone Color Report for Fall 2014

This last week's weather was definitely not typical for August. The temperature got down to 75 degrees and we got quite a bit of rain! It was a nice change from the scorching heat that we usually have this time of year and it got me thinking. We are down to our last month of summer. I haven't decided how I feel about that yet. On the one hand cooler temperatures sound pretty nice. I could actually enjoy being outside again! And fall is one of my favorite seasons! But, on the other hand I'm not sure I'm really ready to let the lazy days of summer go. Fall means back to school and back to school means back to schedules and homework. Plus, winter follows fall and winter is not one of my favorite seasons.

Regardless of my personal feelings on the matter, fall is just around the corner. Pretty soon all of the summer fashions will be on clearance making room for the new trends for fall. Here at Our World Boutique we are starting to see a few fall items appearing in our warehouse. We are definitely thinking about fall here. To help you get ready, I wanted to share with you the Pantone Color Report for Fall 2014.

"For more than 20 years, Pantone, the global authority on color, has surveyed the designers of New York Fashion Week and beyond to bring you the season's most important color trends. This report previews the most prominent hues for fall 2014."

Here's a little glimpse of the colors you can expect to see a lot of this fall. Radiant Orchid was declared the color of the year for spring and is still going strong for fall. We are also loving Royal Blue and Mustard (especially together) and Grey is here to stay. We love this beautiful assortment of colors! There is sure to be something for everyone and there are so many possibilities that will be fun to mix and match. To find out more visit http://www.pantone.com/pages/fcr/?season=fall&year=2014.
